Alberton JKA and Bassonia JKA celebrate successful club gradings
Nearly 100 karate students pass with flying colours under the guidance of top-level instructors
Alberton JKA and Bassonia JKA held their club gradings this past weekend.
Nearly 100 students took part, with a 100% pass rate.
“Well done to all the candidates and instructors. The highly graded panel that conducted the gradings was headed by senior instructor and SAJKA president sensei Bruce Smith (7th Dan),” said sensei Karen Smith.
Classes are held in Brackenhurst every Monday and Wednesday from 16:15 to 18:30, including a dedicated Dinky class for our youngest practitioners.
The team is led by senior instructor sensei Karyn Smith (6th Dan), supported by four additional black belt instructors and several sub-instructors, ensuring a low student-to-instructor ratio. All instructors are certified in Level 1 first aid and safe guarding, underscoring our commitment to a safe and professional training environment.
