The Halala Cup took place at Waterstone College in Kibler Park on May 7.
A high-energy match between Norkem Park and Waterstone College ended with a 4-3 score in favour of Norkem Park. The game saw several goals from both teams.
Norkem Park outscored Waterstone College because one goal was enough to earn the win.
Waterstone College’s football team showed determination, but ultimately fell short. Their supporters showed great spirit, filling the pavilion and cheering on their team until the end. Despite the loss, their support was commendable.
In a separate match, Meridian Cosmo City and Randfontein High went head-to-head to a 2-2 draw in regular time.
The game was decided in a penalty shootout, with Meridian Cosmo City emerging victorious, having six penalties to Randfontein High’s five.
