Alberton Cobras karatekas strike gold at Pretoria tournament
Six competitors from Cobras Shotokan Karate Club bring home 10 medals at the Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan All Styles Karate Tournament.
The Cobras Shotokan Karate Club from Alberton recently attended the Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan All Styles Karate Tournament in Pretoria.
They made their senseis extremely proud, with six competitors bringing home 10 medals.
Medal winners include Tyron dos Santos (two gold), Sahara Peel (gold and silver), Mbasa Ntini (gold and silver), Keana Truscott (silver and bronze), Dneyka Govindan (bronze), and Hayley Peel (silver).
The Cobras club trains at Ascot Mews, 19 Heidelberg Avenue, Newmarket, on Monday and Wednesday from 17:30 to 18:30 (beginner classes) and 18:30 to 19:30 (advanced classes).
