After a ferocious contest, Silverman overwhelms the tough Ntombela with relentless pressure to claim a dramatic TKO victory.
Jarred ‘Mr Hollywood’ Silverman produced a thrilling fifth-round stoppage victory at Silverlakes Farm Hotel in Pretoria, defeating the fearless Simphiwe Ntombela at the Battle For Love boxing event.
The contest is already being described by fans as a fight-of-the-year contender.
There was no slow start. From the opening bell, both fighters walked straight to the centre of the ring and began trading heavy punches. Powerful shots landed, and fast combinations followed.
Ntombela showed why he is regarded as a dangerous opponent. He proved tough, durable and willing to stand and trade.

“Simphiwe is very tough, and he hits hard,” Silverman said after the fight. “But I came to fight.”
Silverman’s approach was clear throughout. He pressed forward relentlessly, standing firm amid brutal exchanges and refusing to back down. Each round was fought at a punishing tempo, with the crowd rising to their feet as momentum shifted back and forth in a dramatic battle of will.
By the fifth round, Silverman began to take control. He dug deep and increased the intensity, launching a sustained offensive attack that forced the referee to intervene and stop the contest.
The result was a fifth-round technical knockout and a strong statement victory.
