Qualifying heats will take place at Gold Reef City until Thursday, March 9, and will run from 12:00 daily. The player with the highest chip winnings will automatically qualify for the grand quarter final, which is taking place on Saturday, March 25, while position two to 21 will play off in the unit semi-final on Saturday, March 11, for one of 12 seats in the unit final. The 12 unit finalists will then play off for one of four remaining seats in the grand quarter final on March 25.

Ahead of the quarter-final, 44 finalists from Tsogo Sun casinos across the country will draw table and playing positions from the pool of the participating casinos. The quarter-final, grand semi-final and grand final will culminate in a dazzling event, hosted by Gold Reef City, on Saturday, March 25. The final nail-biting round at the grand final will be reduced to a further five players and the overall winner will walk away with a guaranteed R2 million.
