Fourways boxer defeats Polish competitor at Emperors Palace

Kevin ‘Two Guns’ Lerena of Fourways went for the big hits in the Lights Out’ Box and Dine Tournament at Emperors Palace.

A Fourways cruiserweight boxer showed his prowess after he blew away his Polish opponent in a recent tournament in only his second heavyweight division fight.

Kevin ‘Two Guns’ Lerena went head to head with polish boxer Mariusz ‘The Viking’ Wach at the ‘Lights Out’ Box and Dine Tournament at Emperors Palace on September 17. At the sold-out event at Emperors Palace Centre Court, Lerena was able to land a number of hits and punches on the taller Polish fighter during the fight which secured his IBO (International Boxing Organisation) Intercontinental Heavyweight title win.

The undefeated cruiserweight Fourways boxer was able to land a flurry of punches that led him to a unanimous victory. His good hand speed and nimble footwork saw judges score Lerena 120–108 and the third 118–110 to win the fight.
