Class of 2025 upholds Dainfern College’s proud academic legacy
Dainfern College celebrated the 24th consecutive 100% matric pass rate, with a 100% Bachelor’s Degree pass, with all 68 pupils qualifying for university entrance.
“We are incredibly proud of every student in the matric Class of 2025 for achieving such high levels of academic excellence and personal bests.”
This was said by executive head of Dainfern College Andrew Baker as the school celebrated another exceptional set of IEB National Senior Certificate results on January 12.

Dainfern College has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence after the Class of 2025 achieved outstanding IEB matric results, maintaining the school’s long-standing tradition of success.
The college recorded a 100% pass rate for the 24th consecutive year, along with an exceptional 100% Bachelor’s Degree pass rate, meaning all 68 candidates qualified for university entrance.
The Class of 2025 achieved a combined total of 131 distinctions, averaging 1.93 distinctions per candidate, with 19% of the class achieving an average of 80% and above. These results highlight both strong individual performances and consistent academic achievement across the grade.
Baker praised the entire class, emphasising that success extends beyond academic results alone. “While we pay tribute to those who have achieved these exceptional results, we are also incredibly proud of every student.

“As an inclusive school that focuses on offering a truly holistic education, I am delighted to see our well-rounded and confident students achieve such success in this important milestone.”
He also acknowledged the broader school community for its role in supporting the learners throughout their matric year.
“It takes a village to ensure success in the matric year and, while every student is most deserving of full recognition for their incredible efforts, I also want to recognise the Dainfern College teachers, parents, and families who were behind each one of our students.”
Reflecting on the future, he added: “I celebrate the fact that our Class of 2025 represents precisely the kind of young individuals who will make a positive difference in the world.
As future leaders, I am confident in their ability to contribute significantly to society.”
