2020: The year of growth and support for mums

FOURWAYS – Mothers from the Witkoppen Clinic support group come together to share and be strengthened by one another.

Caring for young children is sometimes hard and it can be confusing but what if you could go somewhere to get all the help and support you need – from mums who are also facing the same challenges?

Cuddlers, Witkoppen Clinic and the Fourways Review, under the banner of Caxton Cares, joined forces in March last year by creating support and learning sessions for local mums. The hope was to give the mums the skills they need to prepare for the different stages in childcare, as well as to provide them with the necessary skills to uplift them and become the best versions of themselves.

Last year saw many successful support sessions where mums could truly express themselves, without any judgement and with honest advice from qualified professionals.

“We are so excited to have seen many mums return and continue their journey with us, and meet all the new mums who are just starting their journey,” said Murray Booth, the marketing executive at Cuddlers. Mums, don’t miss these sessions that run bi-monthly on Thursdays.

When: 6 February at 10am
Where: Witkoppen Clinic, 105 William Nicol Drive.
