4Paws still searching for a forever home
Despite generous community support, animal rescue 4Paws remains without a permanent shelter as their current premises remain up for sale.
4Paws Animal Shelter has extended heartfelt gratitude to the community for the outpouring of support following their urgent appeal for help in securing a new home.
However, despite the generosity shown, the organisation has not yet reached the full funding required to purchase the property they had hoped for.

“Your support has meant the world to us. We are deeply grateful for every donation and act of kindness. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to secure the funds needed to move forward with the purchase of a new property,” said 4Paws CEO, Merinda Prinsloo.
Prinsloo explained that all donations received so far remain safely held in a dedicated investment account until enough funds are raised to acquire a permanent home.

The current shelter, which has served as a haven for countless rescued, abandoned, and neglected animals, is still on the market and could be sold at any time. This uncertainty continues to place immense pressure on the organisation as it strives to provide care and stability for the animals in their care.
“Our situation remains urgent. We continue to rely on the kindness of the public and corporate partners to help us secure a property where we can continue our mission of rescuing and re-homing vulnerable animals. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to giving these animals the permanent sanctuary they deserve.”
4Paws continues its tireless work rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing animals, while calling on the public to help secure their future.
