The second season of the EFC Contender Series has come to a close, leaving fans and pundits alike buzzing with excitement.
The event hosted on March 20 showcased a diverse and highly skilled group of fighters from across Africa, all vying for a professional contract with the EFC.
In the end, three fighters emerged victorious, earning themselves EFC contracts and a chance to compete at the highest level. Coenie Lamprecht, Linda Baraza, and Litha Madikiza were the lucky trio who impressed judges and fans with their skills.

The main card featured a series of thrilling bouts across several divisions, with fighters showing off their unique fighting styles and athleticism. Mika Ngomane defeated Hlompho Phomodi via a split decision, while Sebastian Ferreira submitted Jethro Swan with a rear-naked choke in round two.
Other notable performances included Grant Farrow’s unanimous decision win over Sam Mbhele and Lamprecht’s impressive anaconda submission of Joel Smit in round one.
The prelim bouts were just as fierce, with fighters such as JJ Karagiannidis, Frederik Eloff, and Baraza showcasing their skills. Baraza’s armbar submission of Bianca Campher in round two was a highlight of the evening, earning her a well-deserved EFC contract.
