Hercules looks to stop Vellem

Featherweight powerhouse Lucky 'Hercules' Magekha returns to the Hexagon at EFC 136, promising to hand undefeated Nasiphi Vellem his first loss in what is shaping up to be a must-see clash.

EFC featherweight contender Lucky ‘Hercules’ Magekha is back with bold confidence as he prepares to re-enter the Hexagon for EFC 136 on August 6.

The popular South African featherweight says this return marks a new chapter in his career. “I’m coming back stronger than ever. The Hexagon is my battlefield. I’ve missed that energy from the crowd and that feeling when the cage door closes. Training has been intense, and I’m fully locked in. This is what I live for.”

“I respect what he’s done, but on August 6, I bring the experience, the power, and the heart. Hercules doesn’t back down from any challenge.”

The relentless fighter, known for explosive performances, recently stopped Johannes Rudolph at EFC 132 with a standout TKO. “That last win showed what I’m capable of. The grappling, the pressure, it all came together perfectly. Now, I’m building on that foundation.

“Fans know when I step in, it’s going to be action from the first bell. I always give everything I have.

“This is more than just a bout. It’s about proving I belong at the top of this division. Vellem is a dangerous guy, fast and skilled, but I’ve prepared for everything he can throw at me. Expect fireworks. I’m going in there to impose my will and get the finish. The crowd is going to love it.”
