Residents of Kruinhof Retirement Village enjoy festivities

Dare-To-Care Soup Kitchen orchestrated an Easter commemoration event at Kruinhof Retirement Village on March 28, blending festivities with recognition of International Women’s Day, celebrated earlier in March.
The event, designed to honour elders and acknowledge the contributions of women, unfolded with a blend of joy and appreciation.
Seniors were treated to drinks, a sumptuous lunch, and Easter bunny chocolates, spreading warmth and cheer throughout the gathering.

Residents also participated in prize giveaways, with lucky winners taking home boxes of chocolates and sweets.
Expressing gratitude to all sponsors, organiser Vanessa Spassov extended heartfelt wishes for a prosperous Easter weekend to the esteemed elders in attendance.
The event also underscored the importance of honouring and celebrating the elderly and women in our communities.
