Sale to help make Christmas special

Don’t forget to come out in force this Saturday to shop at the Avril Elizabeth Home’s Driveway Sale.

The event raises funds to make Christmas special and memorable for all the residents of the home.

The sale takes place from 9am to 2pm at the home, situated at 11 Castor Road, Fishers’ Hill and there is sure to be something for everyone.

There will be pancakes, breyani, pickles, sweets, lucky packets, jewellery, second-hand clothing, books, bric n brac, cookies, cakes and lovely Christmas stocking fillers.

The community’s support would be greatly appreciated as every item purchased will help make Christmas great for the residents.

In the past, the home has received generous donations, especially for its Christmas Day celebrations.

This has been on the decline due to the economic climate, and therefore, the home is appealing for any contributions which will be greatly appreciated.
