SAPS arrest 69 people

The Primrose SAPS has been cleaning up the community.

The Primrose SAPS arrested 69 people during the week of July 1 to July 7.

The arrests were made for various crimes, including, possession of dagga, possession of drugs, being drunk in public, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, theft, possession of counterfeit cigarettes, possession of a hijacked truck, dealing in dagga, warrants of arrest, contravention of the Medical Aid Act, shoplifting, driving under the influence of alcohol, intimidation and being illegal immigrants.

Most of the suspects have already appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court.

Some paid admission of guilt fines and the illegal immigrants will be sent to Lindela for deportation.
