The Primrose police recently arrested three suspects, aged 20, 23 and 25, who were believed to be in possession of stolen property.
The arrests were a result of an investigation carried out by a Primrose police officer who, on his route to work, witnessed the three suspects breaking the window of a vehicle that was stopped at a robot.
The three suspects, after realising there was a police officer present, fled in different directions.
The officer began to ask community members for information on the three men he had seen and was informed that they lived in the Delport informal settlement.
The officer proceeded to the last known address of the men and found earrings and spark-plugs, often used to break the windows of cars, and various bags.
The officer was also able to identify one of the three suspects as the man he had seen breaking the car window earlier that day.
