The Primrose police recently arrested a 34-year-old man suspected of housebreaking and theft in the Marathon Informal Settlement.
The arrest was made after a man from the Marathon Informal Settlement reported that his home had been broken into and several items had been taken.
Among the items reported missing were various items of clothing and R1 000 in cash.
The total value of the stolen goods amounted to about R2 620.
The Primrose police began their investigation and with the help of a neighbour, who had seen the suspect leaving the house where the robbery was reported to have taken place, police were able to make an arrest.
