EMPD community liaison officers have apprehended two men allegedly involved in the murder of an EMPD Peace Corps volunteer.
The men were arrested at 10pm recently, in Katlehong.
The volunteer was shot and killed on September 10, in Katlehong.
Metro Police officers followed up on information provided by members of the community and nabbed a 26-year-old man in the Mosiliki section.
The suspect then told the officers where his 25-year-old accomplice was, in Mopedi section.
Both suspects were handed over to the police at the Katlehong North Police Station.
Investigations are underway to locate the murder weapon used in the killing of the Peace Corps volunteer.
The men are expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court soon, to face a charge of murder.
