A man, who had been on the run for seven months was nabbed by EMPD officers, in Katlehong, recently.
The man was wanted in connection with a car-hijacking in Vosloorus, where his accomplice was wounded and arrested by police.
When the EMPD Community Liaison Unit cornered the 30-year-old suspect, in Sonwaba Extension Five, he was found driving a stolen silver Toyota Corolla with a Benoni case number.
The Toyota had been stolen earlier this month.
Charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and that of the earlier case (car-hijacking) were registered against the man at the Dawn Park Police Station.
He was expected to appear in the Vosloorus Magistrates Court on September 19.
