Germiston-based DK Media is hosting a Business Forum networking event.
The emerging media and events company invites all business owners and aspiring small business owners to the event on November 14.
“We have recognised the need for local or small businesses to be given an opportunity to network, market and advertise their businesses, as well as build business relations with other local businesses,” said Deli Khumalo, from DK Media.
“Our Business Forum aims to provide a place of useful business advice, to discuss issues on business development for new business owners, create growth opportunities for small businesses and provide a podium for businesses to showcase their brands, as well as provide business education or information.
“Together we can contribute to cutting down the unemployment rate and help businesses work together to restore and strengthen the local economy.”
Business owners will be given a chance to ask questions or ask for advice at the event.
Guest speakers from various large companies, departments and organisations will discuss business opportunities with the delegates.
The event takes place from 10am to 2.30pm, at the Ekukhanyeni Centre, 236 Victoria Street, Germiston CBD.
Lunch will be provided.
