The Primrose SAPS recently arrested a 20-year-old man for possession of drugs.
The arrest took place while officers, on a routine patrol in Rietfontein Road, noticed a suspicious-looking man.
Officers stopped him and, during a search, found two plastic bags containing an illegal white substance,” said Const Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
Maome appealed to the community not to use drugs, as there can be dangerous consequences.
The man was arrested and detained at the Primrose Police Station.
Upon his appearance in the Germiston Magistrates Court, the suspect was released with a warning.
