The Primrose SAPS arrested two men on Wednesday, on charges of fraud and the possession of stolen property.
The arrests were made following a report to the police that the accused had ordered tyres, to the value of R752 400, that were paid for via EFT.
The complainant hired a truck to deliver the large order, but the accused later claimed he had never received the tyres.
A neighbour of the accused said that the tyres had, in fact, been delivered, and that after they had been delivered another truck had come and reloaded them and left.
Officers followed up on all leads and the accused and his driver were arrested and taken to the Primrose Police Station.
The two men will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
