The Primrose police recently arrested three men, aged between 30 and 38 years.
They were arrested on charges of malicious damage to property, following a complaint lodged at the Primrose Police Station.
The complainant told officers that he saw the three men damaging a fence in Main Reef Road, and then disappearing into a storm water drainpipe.
He called a friend and together they searched the pipe, where they found the three men hiding.
The police were called to the scene and the men were arrested.
They appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where their case was postponed for trial.
