Pupils love maths

Pupils rewarded for hard work.

SA Teacher ended the year off with a bang.

A special function was recently held at Mampudi Primary School in Spruitview which saw more than 300 pupils from 74 schools taking part.

SA Teacher has been working with the schools to help improve the children’s mathematics marks and to instill a love of mathematics in the children.

The pupils (from Grade Four to Seven) wrote a mathematics examination.

The examination took an hour but was well worth the effort.

The pupils in each grade who attained the highest scores received an iPad courtesy of SmartBear.

Second placed pupils got bicycles sponsored by Southern Spar and third placed pupils each got a Nokia cellphone, a school bag and stationery.

All the pupils were also treated to lunch courtesy of SA Teacher and each participant received a sports bag and pen from Makro Alberton, as well as certificates from SA Teacher.
