The Germiston SPCA’s Christmas Cheer Fund has closed.
The final amount raised was R45 064.80.
Manager of the Germiston SPCA, Laurence Kingston, said: “We express our heartfelt appreciation to all our generous donors for another great Christmas Cheer fund-raiser.
“The huge amount raised has certainly benefited all animals collected over November, December and the early part of January 2014.
“Thanks for all your generous support and we hope, most sincerely, for an animal cruelty-free 2014.”
