Forty people arrested in Primrose

The Primrose SAPS arrested a total of 40 suspects, in connection with a number of crimes that took place in the Primrose area, from March 10 to 16.

The arrests were made on charges of

•  Assault GBH: 2

• Common assault: 4

• Theft: 1

• Driving under the influence: 1

• Drunk and disorderly in public: 4

• Contempt of court: 4

• Drug possession: 3

• Illegal immigrants: 12

• Concealment of birth: 1

• Possession of an unlicensed firearm: 1

• Armed robbery: 1

• Common robbery: 1

• Attempted murder: 1

• Murder: 1

• Soliciting/importuning for the purpose of sexual immorality: 3

All of the accused appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court.
