Calling care workers to take part in special training

Upping their skills in order to deliver better care.

Blisscare Home Services, in association with Cansa (Cancer Association of South Africa) is continuing its fight against cancer.

Blisscare, based in Germiston, has approached Cansa to train its care workers as volunteers to assist cancer patients.

This training will equip the care workers with the necessary skills to assist cancer patients and to know what is expected of them.

They will be trained in various areas, including holistic care and support.

In addition, the training will improve the employability chances of the caregivers as they will get a certificate from Cansa after the training.

The first training is scheduled for March 27 and 28.

The training is offered free of charge and there will be progressive training every month.

Any care worker who would like to be part of this initiative can call 011 042-9677 or 061 037 5483.
