The Primrose police arrested a 20-year-old man, on Monday, March 31, for a murder that took a place in 2012.
The sector manager began his investigation in 2012, when a body was discovered in the Delport informal settlement.
When officers arrived at the scene they found the body of a man, who had been stabbed repeatedly in his upper body.
“After speaking to several residents, it was discovered that the man, 19-year-old at the time of the murder, had left the area following the incident.
“The management of the Primrose SAPS thanks the officer who worked tirelessly, following every lead he could.
“His hard work has led to the successful arrest of the suspect,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
