You are tired from a long day at work.
You pull up outside the front gates of your house, press the remote – and suddenly a man stands next to your window, holding a gun to your head.
The reality dawns on you that you are being hijacked.
Hijacking is a very emotional subject and it has taken its toll on people’s sense of safety in the country
With this in mind, the Lambton Klip CPF (Germiston Sector Four) has invited Richard Brussow from the National Hijack Prevention Academy (NHPA) to give a presentation on hijacking prevention.
The presentation will be held at the CPF’s monthly community meeting on the Thursday May 8, at Afrikaanse Hoërskool Germiston.
The meeting will begin at 7pm.
NHPA was established in 2001, and focuses on conducting Hijack Prevention training countrywide.
Currently they specialise in advanced driver training aimed at improving driver skill and as a result, improve road safety and vehicle safety for all.
The Lambton Klip Sector CPF includes the following suburbs: Hazeldene, Hazel Park, Lambton, Denlee, Webber, Klippoortjie and Parkhill Gardens.
