While out conducting provincial special duties on May 10, the Elsburg SAPS received a complaint from their Client Service Centre, about suspicious-looking people.
The officers went to the corner of Plein and Maree streets, in Elsburg, where community members informed them that they had found two men in possession of housebreaking implements.
“The officers searched the two men and, in a blue school bag carried by one of the men, they discovered the housebreaking implements,” said Const Daphney Phooko, communications officer for the Elsburg SAPS.
The men, aged 26 and 29, were arrested and will face a charge of being in possession of housebreaking implements.
