The GCN responded to an accident on Monday, June 30.
Upon arriving on scene it was noted that a silver Audi had crashed through the barrier on AG De Wit Drive, in Solheim.
“The accident was reported to the EMPD at 9.30am this morning,” said Thabiso Makgato, responding on behalf Wilfred Kgasago, spokesman for the EMPD.
“The driver went through the barrier and collided with a rock before going over the hill.
“EMPD had arranged for the Ekurhuleni Towing Service to assist in removing the vehicle, but the owner of the vehicle made his own arrangements.”
No one is believed to have been injured in this incident.
