Ester Naicker called the Germiston City News with a warning to the community, explaining that she was recently involved in an accident.
“The accident involved three cars and, during the confusion of trying to find out what exactly had happened, a woman appeared,” she explained.
“She was a tall, big built woman, with a light complexion and dark hair.
“She arrived on a motorbike and told me she had witnessed the whole thing and would help me to explain when the police arrived.”
While Naicker attended to the three children who had been in the car during the accident, the woman offered to hold her valuables.
“I told her not to bother, as the car was not going anywhere,” she said.
After a moment Naicker noticed that the woman had suddenly disappeared.
“When I searched my car I realised that my handbag and laptop had disappeared.
“I then asked some of the other people involved in the accident if they were missing anything.
“Two men confirmed that they were missing their wallets.”
Naicker felt that the community of Germiston should know about this woman.
“I don’t want what has happened to me to happen to someone else,” Naicker said.
