Be aware of hijackers on highway off-ramp

The Primrose CPF warns the community to be aware on the Kraft Road off-ramp from the N12.

A truck driver was recently hijacked as he came to a standstill off the highway in his company’s truck.

Wendy Morgan from the CPF said, “A vehicle pulled up beside him and the driver told him that his tyre had burst.

“He stopped to check and four men jumped out of the Honda Ballade stopped next to him and one of them pointed a firearm at him.

“They made him get into the car and drove off, while some of the others got into his truck.

“The hijackers dropped him in Eldorado Park and the vehicle was later recovered in Lenasia.”
