Officers from the Primrose Police Station were recently on a routine patrol of the Makause informal settlement when they were told to look out for a highjacked vehicle.
The white delivery van had just been hijacked in the Germiston area.
The officers spotted a vehicle matching the description given over the radio, seized it and took it back to the police station.

“The vehicle was recovered by officers before a formal case file had even been opened,” communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome, said.
“The station’s management salutes the officers involved for a job well done.
“If the Primrose police continue to work like this we will reach our goal of eradicating crime in the area.”
