Post should be back in the community’s post boxes soon.
The SA Post Office has experienced industrial action intermittently over the past three weeks.
According to Johan Kruger, from the communications division of the SA Post Office, the leadership of the workers agreed, on Wednesday, that the industrial action would end with immediate effect.
He said the workers were lobbying to obtain official recognition for a new labour union which they have joined.
“Mail delivery will now resume and the public will start receiving their mail again,” Kruger said.
“The Post Office expects that operations will be completely back to normal in about 14 days.”
