The Primrose police recently arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with a business robbery.
The arrest was made when a business owner contacted the SAPS to report the robbery.
He explained that he had been in his shop, in Shamrock Road, when two men entered.
They ordered him to lie down and made off with R4 000 in cash, as well as 16 computers, car keys, two cellphones and a plasma TV.
The estimated value of the goods taken is R50 000.
After taking the owner’s statement the officers followed several leads and were able to arrest one man believed to be part of the robbery.
The second man is still at large.
The man was brought to the Primrose Police Station where he is being detained pending his appearance in court.
