Police and community to march against the abuse of women and children.

The Elsburg SAPS will host a march with the theme “Stop violence against women and children”, on Friday (August 22).

Participants are asked to gather at the Elsburg Police Station, at 9.40am, and the march will commence at 10am.

Marchers will walk along du Toit, Olivier, Parnell, Brug and Voortrekker streets, in Elsburg.

All Elsburg community members are invited to join in the march.

Police officers from the Germiston cluster (Germiston, Alberton, Primrose, Brackendowns, Bedfordview, and Elsburg) have also been invited to attend.

The Elsburg SAPS will sell boerewors rolls and cold drinks on the day, to raise funds for future community projects.
