The Primrose SAPS had their hands full from August 25 to 31.
Officers arrested a total of 39 suspects, who were charged with various crimes:
- Possession of drugs 8.
- Urinating in public 1.
- Fraud 3.
- Common assault 2.
- Illegal connection of electricity 1.
- Housebreaking 1.
- Possession of stolen property 7.
- Illegal possession of copper 1.
- Driving under the influence 1.
- Drunk and disorderly in public 1.
- Malicious damage to property 2.
- Attempted murder 1.
- Contempt of court 2.
- Dealing in/selling liquor without a licence 5.
- Illegal immigrants 3.
“The station commander, Col Mduduzi Khuzwayo, again thanks everyone who has made a contribution to these successes,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
A number of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where their cases were remanded for various reasons.
