Dukathole’s children in community’s prayers

Special day of prayer held for the children of Dukathole.

The community of Dukathole came out to pray for their children, at a special prayer meeting held at Ekurhuleni Primary School, last Sunday.

The meeting was organised by Ward 35 councillor Mbuyiseli Xakambana, and the theme for the prayer day was “Save Our Children”.

“This prayer day came as a result of a number of deaths of children in the community, due to various social ills, namely, illegal connections of electricity, electricity cable theft, negligence resulting in children being killed by rodent poison, leadership derailed by evil spirits, crime and substance abuse and the anti-Christ, resulting in Satanism,” said Xakambana.

All denominations existing in Ward 35 were part of the event and the day went well.

Regular events such as this are planned for the area.
