Community warned about severe thunderstorms
Severe thunderstorms, damaging winds and hail could be expected says the South African Weather Service.
Today the South African Weather Service released a warning of severe thunderstorms and localised flooding.
- Severe Thunderstorms:
Severe thunderstorm with the possibility of large hail and damaging winds focus, but not limited to, over the north of Pretoria moving eastwards.
- Flooding
Localised urban flooding is possible in parts of Gauteng today, clearing by this evening.
The community is once again urged to take the necessary precautions when travelling and be sure their vehicles and animals have appropriate shelter.
