Pupils from Germiston High School thrilled senior citizens, last Wednesday, when they visited them bearing gifts and Christmas cheer.
The annual senior citizens travelling Christmas, arranged by Germiston High School, saw Grade 10 pupils visiting five old age homes in the area.
Almost R30 000 was raised throughout the year for this function, which enabled the Grade 10 staff and pupils to pack 600 gift bags for the residents at the old age homes.
Residents were also entertained by the pupils and provided with snacks.
This project remains a highlight on the Germiston High School calendar.
