Man arrested after stealing a piece of palisade fencing

Man found with stolen property at local scape yard.

The Primrose Police recently arrested a 21-year-old man for theft.

The arrest was made after one of Primrose Primary School’s general workers reported that the palisade fence in front of the store room was missing.

The matter was reported to the police, while the worker and his colleagues walked around the area notifying local scrap yards to lookout for someone trying to sell a piece of palisade fencing.

As predicted, the accused visited a scrap yard at the corner of Pretoria and Cactus roads with the intention to sell the fence.

The owner notified police and the man was arrested.

The man will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
