During daily stop-and-search operations, recently, 44 people were nabbed for various offences in Katlehong.
The operations were conducted by the Katlehong SAPS Crime Prevention Unit and members of the EMPD.
Suspects were arrested for various crimes, including housebreaking and theft, malicious damage to property, possession of a suspected stolen vehicle, robbery with a firearm, assault, serious assault, shoplifting, theft, culpable homicide, driving under the influence of alcohol, drinking alcohol in public and being in possession of dagga.
