Household Consumer League hold blind taste test

More bang for your buck.

The Household Consumer League recently held a blind taste testing of hot cross buns and marshmallow Easter eggs.

The Household Consumer League, which has been in existence for over 40 years, is a consumer advocacy group which participates in the creation and revising of consumer goods and service standards, as well as resolving consumer issues.

The judges, who volunteered for the position, are members of the consumer league.

They tasted each product from a number of predetermined stores, and scored each of the buns and eggs.

The focus was on the freshness, size, spice, fruit and taste.

The group hopes that, through taste tests such as these, stores will be able to improve their standards.
