“In its continuous efforts to provide a stable and reliable electricity supply network to consumers, the metro will be conducting essential cable maintenance work at the Germiston North substation,” explained Themba Gadebe, spokesman for the metro.
This means that, there will be a planned power supply interruption that will affect Germiston North and surrounding areas on Wednesday, April 15 from 2pm to 6pm.
The following areas will be affected:
- Primrose;
- Primrose East;
- Knights.
Residents are urged to treat all electrical networks and equipment as electrically alive at all times.
“The metro apologise for any inconvenience to be caused,” concluded Gadebe.
