High risk of load shedding today

Eskom this morning announced that there’s a very high chance of load shedding today.

South Africans have experienced rolling black outs for the passed few days with stage two load shedding being implemented last night.

Stage two load shedding means there is a national shortage of 2,000 megawatts.

The power utility said this morning that the national power grid remains severely constrained as the company battles to keep up with the power demand.

The company will continue to keep the community updated throughout the day.
