Risk of load shedding this evening
Eskom struggles with generating capacity.
After implementing stage one load shedding yesterday evening (Thursday) due to an increased electricity demand and a shortage of generation capacity resulting from technical faults at some of the Eskom’s power station units.
The company has warned the risk of load shedding for this evening is high.
Eskom will continue to provide regular updates on the status of the power system through all the media platforms.
