During a recent early morning patrol in Beaconsfield Avenue the Primrose police arrested a 25-year-old man for drug possession.
“Officers stopped the accused and requested to search him and his vehicle,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
During the search, a plastic bag containing a suspicious white substance was found.
The suspect was arrested and detained at the Primrose Police Station pending his appearance in the Germiston Magistrates Court.
The man’s case has since been postponed for plea and trial.
