Primrose police arrest 17
Primrose police share December arrest statistics.
The Primrose police arrested 17 suspects in the Primrose area during the first weeks of December, last year.
The suspects were charged for various crimes including;
- Assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 1
- Common assault: 1
- Possession of drugs: 2
- Malicious damage to property: 1
- Driving under the influence of alcohol: 6
- Attempted rape: 1
- Perjury: 1
- Murder: 1
- Theft: 1
- Illegal immigrants: 1
The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Mduduzi Khuzwayo, thanked everyone who contributed to the arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
The illegal immigrant will be sent to Lindela, for deportation.
