Nine suspects were nabbed in a joint operation between members of the Germiston SAPS Detective Unit and the EMPD, the operation concentrated on tracing suspects and following up on information regarding criminals and their criminal activities.

The petrol price increased by six cents a litre, while the price of diesel decreased by between 62 cents and 63 cents a litre depending on the grade on Wednesday.
