High risk of veld fires in Gauteng
Hot weather conditions could lead to veld fires in parts of Gauteng.
As the hot and dry weather conditions continue over Gauteng the South African Weather Service today released a warning of potential veld fires.
The community is urged to take the necessary precautions when travelling, and ensue their animals are safe.
In addition to this warning the service has warned of high discomfort levels caused by the hot and humid weather.
In Gauteng temperatures are expected to range from 30 to 34 degrees till Tuesday.
